Excellence: Enhancing Coordination and Safety with the PLOT Delivery System

Foundry Partners is committed to excellence, safety, and innovative solutions that improve jobsite operations. As construction progresses, keeping deliveries organized and work areas clear is essential to maintaining a safe and productive environment. To support these efforts, the project team uses the PLOT Delivery System, a digital platform that streamlines delivery scheduling and strengthens coordination among site teams, vendors, and subcontractors. 

PLOT enables project teams to establish designated delivery locations while allowing vendors and subcontractors to select delivery areas and time slots. This structured process gives crews greater visibility into incoming materials and equipment, helping them plan work effectively, ensure resources are available when needed, and reduce congestion in active work zones. When a delivery arrives, drivers check in through PLOT, automatically notifying the site team to dispatch an escort and retrieve the driver from the delivery staging area. 

When configuring this system to interface with the site, we had the community at the forefront of our minds. Safety Executive Mitch Allen highlighted the program’s focus on safety and efficiency, “We’re dedicated to being good construction neighbors. We implemented the PLOT system with a major goal of keeping traffic off SR 32.”   

At the Lilly Medicine Foundry Site, the PLOT Delivery System has become an important tool for supporting safe operations, improving communication, and increasing efficiency. By combining delivery planning with real-time project visibility, PLOT helps teams maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment while minimizing impacts on the surrounding community.
