The Lilly

Eli Lilly and Company is investing $4.5 billion to create the Lilly Medicine Foundry, a new center for advanced manufacturing and drug development. The Medicine Foundry is located in the LEAP Innovation District at SR 32 and CR-200 W. The Foundry Partners, a joint-venture between McFarland Construction and F.A. Wilhelm Construction, is overseeing the project’s construction.

The Medicine Foundry will take up to three years to complete and create approximately 500 new jobs, including engineers, scientists, operations personnel and lab technicians. During construction, the site will have up to 2,000 workers.
